Angelo (Blazhe) Nitsopoulos (1921 - December 1, 2006)
Angelo was born in 1921 in the village of Banitsa, Macedonia and came to Canada at the age of 31. Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on December 1, 2006, in his 85th year. Survived by his loving wife Vasa, Angelo will be sadly and dearly missed by his sons, Dr. Michael, Dr. Steve, Chris and their families. Our precious Angel will be sorely missed and forever cherished in the hearts of his daughters-in-law, Lucy and Georgina, his grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Daniella), Lisa, Angela, Alexandra and his namesake Angelo. Visitation will be held at THE HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE, 50 Overlea Blvd., 416-423-1000, on Sunday, December 2nd from 5 - 9pm and on Sunday, December 3rd from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 76 Overlea Blvd., on Monday December 4, 2006 at 1:30pm. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. We will always cherish and remember your warm smile, dedication, generosity and enormous heart. Our Angel is now resting in Heaven.
